Reaching deep into Citizen’s dive history, a 70’s classic is reimagined with a modern twist in the new Promaster Mechanical Diver – now updated with advanced features suitable for the ocean or the office. The retro design is based on the Citizen Challenge Diver found covered in barnacles on an Australian beach after being submerged in the ocean for years – but was still ticking. That history has inspired our new Promaster Mechanical Diver and given it the affectionate nickname, Fujitsubo – Japanese for barnacle. The lightweight and scratch-resistant Super TitaniumTM case is complemented with a blue dial featuring embossed hands and a classic green luminous for a vintage feel, a rotating elapsed-time bezel, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal face. A silver-tone Super Titanium™ bracelet is the perfect finishing touch for this advanced timepiece. This instant classic with automatic movement boasts enhanced magnetic resistance to protect against interference from everyday devices, as well as a 42-hour power reserve. This high-performance watch comes in an exclusive collector’s dive tank box, is ISO compliant and water resistant to 200 meters. Caliber number 9051.
